....we purchased our pumper/tanker two years ago from James Riddle at High Tech Rescue. This truck was designed to take the place of two units that we currently had in service. For the first time in the history of the Boyle County Fire Department the new apparatus was not designed by headquarters or a group of senior officers. The task was given to the men and women of station 1 where the new apparatus was to serve. The group of firefighters designed a multi purpose pumper/tanker with a large amount of storage,2000 gallon poly tank 1250 GPM pump. 5 person cab and storage for a drop tank. The rear design included a trash line and storage for 200 ft of hose and a three way dump valve that could be operated from the cab. When US Tanker was selected through our bidding process I knew little to nothing about the company. The design work and drawings went smoothly and the truck was ready on schedule and on budget. When we picked up our truck I was extremely impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. The truck meet our spec to the letter. We have had our US Tanker pumper/tanker now for two years and have encountered not one problem. During my 30 plus years as a firefighter I have seen many trucks purchased and put into service. No one matches the quality and workmanship of US Tanker. We hope to purchase many more. Chief Donald Sexton Boyle County Fire Department.

The care that the shop staff showed was very evident by the quality workmanship on our truck. They definitely paid attention to every detail and went out of their way to make our truck look sharp. We have trucks in our department built by other major fire apparatus manufacturers, but our U.S. Tanker is definitely the finest in overall workmanship. Words cannot express how pleased I am with what U.S. Tanker has produced for the Fire District. Your operation and the men you have in your employ are true craftsmen; the quality of the work and willingness to please the customer was remarkable. I cannot believe the final product was obtained to perfection without any written specifications or drawings provided! U.S. Tanker is a rare find in today’s market, to be able to complete this type of project on time and to the customers complete satisfaction the first time, is unheard of.
